Dr. Mills received her BS degree from UC Davis in Agricultural and Managerial Economics. After working for many years in the agricultural industry in the Salinas Valley, she decided to return to school to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine. She graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 and has been practicing in both the San Francisco and Monterey Bay Areas since then.
Dr. Mills has personally received treatment with holistic modalities such as acupuncture and chiropractic since she was a young child. Providing these services to her veterinary patients has been an interest of hers since becoming a veterinarian, especially after seeing how acupuncture helped her own dog, Kona, overcome debilitating neck pain and arthritis.
Dr. Mills has received extensive training in veterinary acupuncture, having completed the 150 hour International Veterinary Acupuncture Society (IVAS) course. |
